During the lock down in Maastricht, it was still possible to meet for celebrating the opening of the construction site in Blauwdorp. Due to pandemic restrictions, it was not possible for the whole neighbourhood to gather in larger groups.
Yet many locals were able to witness the celebrations from social media, or from behind their windows.
